Didn’t really sleep well last night and almost forgot to post this. It’s been an eventful week and I’m not sure about the jump into the van from the last page. I don’t think it’s too jarring but I wrote it so my view isn’t really objective. I’ve caught up to where I’ve written so far again so this weekend I’ll spend some time writing the next scene or two.

Just finished reading The Engines of God and it was pretty good. McDevitt kept it opened and I knew there were sequels to this book but he maybe left it too open for the sequel. I’m not sure if I like that. It’s a good read and I’ll probably pick the next in the series up at some point but the overall mystery wasn’t really finalized in the book. At least not to my level of satisfaction I guess. Oh well, I’ve got three books lined up right now, a PKD book which are nice and quick, Revelation Space, and then I’m planning on tackling the brick that is Anathem.
